Dr. Anil Potti, a successful clinician and certified Oncologist has been a part of a numerous effective clinical and research programs in cancer. He takes special interest in providing thorough care to patients suffering from lung cancer. Dr. Potti has carried out extensive research in the field of lung cancer and has significantly contributed in numerous research papers. He graduated as a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S) in 1995 from the Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore, India.
Anil Potti MD completed Residency Training in 2000 from the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine, Fargo, North Dakota and undertook Fellowship Training in Hematology and Medical Oncology between 2003 and 2006 at Duke University Durham, NC. During his time in North Dakota, Dr. Potti has been the Chief Resident at UND School of Medicine and Health Services and has also served in the Department of Medicine at UND School of Medicine and Health Services as an Assistant Professor. Over the years, he has been offering dedicated and highly reliable services and has won numerous awards for his contribution in the field of lung cancer. He has been honored with prestigious awards like Joseph Greenfield Mentoring Award, Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), Robert Silber Research Prize, ASCO IDEA Mentor Award, Lisa Stafford Clinical Research Prize and more.
Besides being a reputed and successful clinician and Oncologist, Dr. Anil Potti has been able to gain popularity owing to his involvement in teaching efforts and numerous humanitarian activities. He strongly believes in working for the welfare of the society and donates his time and money to the local school system and the local church on regular basis. Whenever he gets some free time from his busy schedule, he enjoys several outdoor activities and also involves himself in volunteering.
In addition to this, he is actively associated with several reputed organizations like Alpha-Omega-Alpha (AOA) Honor Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and American Association of Cancer Research (AACR).
